What is the working principle of a corn mill grinder?
- The motor drives the grinding plates to rotate at high speed, generating strong cutting force.
- Dried corn kernels enter from the feed inlet.
- The corn is repeatedly ground and crushed between the grinding plates.
- The crushed material is discharged through a screen, and the mesh size of the screen determines the final fineness.
- Finally, the ground corn powder or grits comes out from the outlet, completing the grinding process.
Corn grinding operation steps
- Raw material preparation – Select dry and impurity-free corn kernels; remove stones, metal, and other hard objects; keep moisture around 13%.
- Pre-start check – Ensure the power is properly connected; open the outlet and attach a collection bag.
- Start the machine – Let the motor run idle for a few seconds to confirm normal operation.
- Slow feeding – Pour corn kernels slowly and evenly into the feeding inlet.
- Collect final product – Ground corn flour or grits will be discharged automatically; replace screen mesh as needed to adjust fineness.
